The EdCast Knowledge Network, founded by Indian-origin entrepreneur Karl Mehta, says his company is starting a first-of-its-kind interactive digital space – Insight Series – to share live-insights from global influencers and leaders that can help change the world.

The company said in a release, “The Insight Series aims to redefine learning using social-mobile networks with real-time narratives that inspires communities from around the world. People who join live can ask questions and connect with the influencer in real-time.”

Mehta added, “Our vision and mission is to empower, ignite and activate people around the world through our global social knowledge network and this Series takes this experience to a higher level.”

The company, which is based in California, also said that it was targeting around 100 million global viewers by 2016.
