An old video of rape accused and self-proclaimed godman, Asaram, sharing stage with Narendra Modi, now India’s prime minister, has gone viral on social media platform.
The video, where, Modi is seen repeating the lines chanted by Asaram, has been viewed nearly 1 lakh times within hours of being posted on Facebook.
The user, who posted this video, wrote, “Found this Karan-Arjun video after a lot of difficulties.”
Asaram is currently langushing in Jodhpur jail for allegedly raping a minor.
A teenage girl had accused Asaram of sexual assault at his ashram in Manai village near Jodhpur. The girl belonging to Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh was a student at the ashram.
Following her complaint against Asaram, he was arrested by Jodhpur Police on 31 August, 2013 and has been in jail since then.
