Indian army’s surgical strikes is act of aggression: National Conference leader

Senior NC leader Mustafa Kamal today alleged that Indian Army’s surgical strikes across the Line of Control was an act of “aggression” and expressed hope that it would not lead to a war between the two countries.

“If what is being said is true then this is aggression, not to give it a sweeter word of saying ‘surgical strike’.

They have violated the sovereignty of Pakistan under whose administrative control the other side is, the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is,” Kamal, a former minister, told reporters here.

The NC leader said the “surgical strikes” have the potential of leading to a full-scale war between the two countries.

“The war will be very unfortunate, not only for us here in Jammu and Kashmir, but for both India and Pakistan also,” Kamal said.
