Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav along with Governor Ram Naik and minister Brahma Shankar Tripathi on Friday reached Gorakhpur Airport to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
While interacting with reporters, Akhilesh said, “The state government provided the land for AIIMS at two places in Gorakhpur. The land is expensive but we provided it for free. It is up to the people of the state to decide who deserves credit for AIIMS.”
Meanwhile several hoardings were seen in city thanking UP CM for providing the free land for AIIMS. Earlier in the day, Modi gave credit for AIIMS and revival of fertiliser plants to the people of Uttar Pradesh.
