A 15- year-old student committed suicide in Karimnagar district of Telangana after he was punished in school for not being able to pay the school fees on time.
The boy named E.Santosh Reddy, also left behind a selfie video in which he has detailed the ‘humiliation’ due to which he took such a drastic step.
Santosh jumped in front of a train in Peddapalli area in Telangana Karimnagar district. In the video, he said he belongs from a poor family, who are farmers and could not afford to pay his full school fees.
Santosh also left one suicide note for his family near the TV, saying his family to check the video before leaving home. The tragedy comes up on Thursday when his family filed a missing complaint.
The case of abetment to suicide has been registered against the private school.
