The ongoing tussle between Arvind Kejriwal, and city’s Lieutenant Governor, Najeeb Jung took a new turn after the latter reportedly sought details of foreign tours of Delhi government’s ministers, their staff and other officials, reported NDTV.
This came after Kejriwal visited the Vatican City in his first foreign trip since becoming the chief minister to attend the canonisation of Mother Teresa.
According to report, the LG has has directed the Delhi government’s General Administration Department to submit these details by next Monday.
In his note, Jung has asked has sought several details including purpose of foreign visit, countries visited, duration and class of travel.
The Chief Minister, along with minister Satyendar Jain, AAP spokesperon, Raghav Chadha and senior leader, Kumar Vishwas, had travelled to the Vatican city on Sunday.
Vishwas, who had posted a photo of himself with Kejriwal sitting in a business class, had said that he was paying for his trip to the Vatican.
