IAS Topper Tina Dabi Khan has earned plenty of accolades in her relatively short career as a civil servant. Aside from topping the UPSC exams in 2016, she was also awarded the President’s Gold Medal for ‘First in Order of Merit’ in her batch in June this year.
The proud young IAS officer had taken to social media to flaunt her achievement after she was presented with the medal at the annual Valediction Ceremony at the LBSNAA.
Tina, who got married to fellow topper Athar Aamir Khan earlier this year, then informed how her name had been included in “The Wall of Fame at LBSNAA.”
Aamir on Wednesday posted a video of himself ready a book in the picturesque backdrop in Jammu and Kashmir. While posting the video, Aamir wrote, “Those beautiful mornings 🙂 #RendevouzWithNature.” He signed off by crediting Tina with shooting the video.
His post instantly evoked positive reactions from fans with many jokingly asking why he needed to read any more books after cracking one of India’s toughest competitive exams with flying colours.
Tina is one of the very few serving IAS officers, who has created a storm of sorts on social media by having her account verified on Instagram, where she has amassed more than 2.15 lakh followers in no time. She also recently added ‘Khan’ to her surname with her profile now identifying her as ‘Tina Dabi Khan,’ who is a ‘Delhiite, Kashmiri Bahu, IAS , in that order.’
When she travelled to London this year with her husband as part of her IAS training programme, she was trolled by her haters for wasting the taxpayers’ money. But, Tina had shut up her trolls in style. After bagging a plum posting as an Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises of Government of India, she continued to cause social media frenzy as fans, smitten by her beauty, repeatedly asked her for the secret of looking good. Aamir, for his part, secured an equally plum posting in the Ministry of Tourism at the same level.
