In June this year, Tina was conferred with the President’s Gold Medal for ‘First in Order of Merit’ in her batch. She was presented with the medal at the annual Valediction Ceremony at the LBSNAA.

Tina, who married the fellow IAS topper from the same year, Athar Aamir Khan, earlier this year, had later received a plum posting when she was appointed an Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises of Government of India. Her husband Athar was appointed an Assistant Secretary in the central government’s Ministry of Tourism.

Tina and Athar had wowed their fans on Instagram after they posted photos from the iconic symbol of love, Taj Mahal. Both flaunted their love for each other as they posed for camera, first at Fatehpur Sikri Palace and then Taj Mahal.

This was days after Tina’s Instagram page was verified and she had announced the addition of Khan as her new surname.
