Super30 mathematician Anand Kumar honoured in Canada

The Legislature of British Columbia, Canada has honoured Super30 founder and mathematician Anand Kumar for his contribution to the field of education,as reported by PTI.

Kumar, who is 43 years old, recieved a memento from speaker Linda Reid for his rare achievements in educating the students from India’s underprivileged sections and preparing them for Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

“Despite facing problems, Kumar continued with his big mission and he is still carrying it forward with tremendous zeal,” said Mark Dalton,legislator from Maple Ridge, at the ceremony. He added, “It is really commendable as he does it all by himself without any donations from any quarters despite offers of financial help.”

Kumar’s education programme was started in Patna, Bihar and operates as an architect for budding talents.
