A 38-year-old man has been arrested for raping a four-year-old girl in Rajasthan’s Sikar city.
The police said that the man later dumped her in a serious condition behind some bushes.

According to police, Pawan Kumar Vishnoi used to work as a waiter in a Sikar hotel. After CCTV footage of the alleged rapist was released by police, he ran away from the city to Nokha in Bikaner district.

Inspector General of Police (Jaipur Range) D.C. Jain said, “We have arrested 38-year-old Pawan Kumar Vishnoi in this rape case. He was brought from Nokha in Bikaner district, interrogated and later arrested.”
He was arrested on rape charges and also under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
On Friday, the girl was sleeping with her mother when she was allegedly abducted. She was later found behind bushes near the place from where she was abducted.
The girl later underwent a 3-4-hour-long surgery in Jaipur’s state-run J.K. Lon Hospital.
Police had meanwhile launched a massive manhunt for the accused and conducted a door-to-door survey.
