IAS topper Tina Dabi has been keeping her 1,34,000 fans on Instagram truly engaged with her goings on in London, where she arrived few days ago as part of her civil services training programme.
Also joining her in the British capital is her husband Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan, also an IAS topper from the same year in 2016. From the photos posted by Tina up until now, it appears she’s indeed visited most of the famous tourist locations in London.
She’s posed in front of the British parliament Westminster, Buckingham Palace and on Westminster bridge with the famous London Eye in the background on the other side of the river Thames.
Her fans are finding the IAS topper’s engaging posts on social media truly ‘inspiring.’ When she posted a photo with her husband outside the Buckingham Palace, one user reacted, “U Both r awesome as palace.” Another fan responded, “You both are my inspiration.”
Tina then posted an incredibly elegant photo of herself from inside her training room with the London map painted on the wall behind her. Dressed in sari, the IAS topper looked every bit stunning. Aside from eliciting usual ‘you’re my inspiration comments,’ this photo also prompted many to request her to seek her first posting in their districts after her training was complete. User Ramji asked, “Apki posting hamaye jabalpur honi chahiye.”
On Sunday, Tina’s London posts had made her a target of a troll, who advised her to focus on her work than indulge in sight-seeing. The said troll had written disparagingly, “Do so work.” This appeared to have irked Tina, who wrote, “Are you aware that this foreign tour is part of our training programme?”
