Haryana voted for BJP and dalit children were burnt alive there: Nitish Kumar in election rally

Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar asked voters in Bihar on Friday if they wanted to replicate the governance model of Haryana, which had voted the BJP to power last year.

He took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders who have been asking Bihari voters to vote for the saffron brigade to end what they say jungle-raj in the state.

Addressing a rally in Muzaffarpur, which goes to poll on 1 November, Nithsh said, “Haryana mein logon ne inko vote dia aur inki sarkar ban gyi, kya hua? Haryana mein dalit bachhe ko zinda jala dia gya. Bihar mein hai ‘Jungle Raj’ aur Haryana mein dalit bachhe ko zinda jalaa dia gya, wo hai Mangal Raj.”

Nitish reminded the rally about the DNA jibe that PM Modi had made while addressing his earlier election rally in the same city.

He said, “PM ne Muzaffarpur mein kaha ki mere DNA gadbad hai, aap btaiye agar humara DNA gadbad hai to aapne 10 saal se CM humko kyun banaya?”

The burning of two dalit children in Haryana’s Ballabhgarh district has become a huge election issue in Bihar. Anti-NDA alliance has seized the General VK Singh’s dog comment exonerating the BJP-led Haryana government in the murder of two dalit kids.
