Union minister Uma Bharti has said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has Lord Rama’s blessings and he would succeed in reining the prices very soon, especially of pulses.
Speaking at a Dussehra event in her parliamentary constituency Jhansi on Thursday night, the union water resources minister said the spiraling prices of essential commodities would soon be brought under control.
The price rise of ‘pulses’ has skyrocketed recently.
Later, Bharati sought blessings of Lord Rama and Sita before an effigy of demon king Ravana was consigned to flames at the Gymkhana Grounds, Sadar Bazaar, in Jhansi.
Also present was former union minister and senior Congress leader Pradip Aditya Jain, who had earlier represented Jhansi in the Lok Sabha.
