In a recent development in the Jitendra Singh Tomar alleged fake degree controversy, the Delhi Sessions Court has deferred Tomar’s bail plea hearing till 13th June, 2015, according to reports.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday moved court in the case pertaining to Jitender Tomar’s arrest.

Tomar, who was arrested on Tuesday without any prior notice, told a news agency, “My degree is real. This is a conspiracy by the Central Government.” He further assured the public that he would win the case and soon work with the party again.

Tomar’s arrest raised a lot of questions by the Delhi government, which has accused the police and the Central government of arresting the law minister of Delhi like a common criminal and using pressure tactics.
