AAP MLA, Rajesh Rishi, accused of extortion in police complaint


Aam Aadmi Party MLA, Rajesh Rishi, has been accused of extortion in a police complaint, reported NDTV.

Rishi had won his election from Delhi’s Janakpuri.

11 AAP MLAs have already been arrested since the party won a historic mandate in Delhi in February last year.

Two AAP MLAs, Amanatullah Khan and Naresh Yadav, were arrested by Delhi and Punjab Police on Sunday.

Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, has always accused the Centre’s BJP government of carrying out vendetta politics to avenge the defeat of Delhi elections.

Delhi Police reports to the Ministry of Home Affairs as the national capital doesn’t enjoy the full statehood.
