In a shocking development, police in Andhra Pradesh have got hold of CCTV footage that showed a man allegedly carrying his techie wife’s dead body in a red suitcase after he murdered her.
The CCTV video is said to be of one Maramreddy Sreekanth Reddy, who is accused of killing his techie wife Bhuvaneswari. Reddy worked as an anti-corruption activist but was reportedly unemployed for some time. 27-year-old Bhuvaneswari worked as a techie for Cognizant in Hyderabad. She was lately working from home due to the pandemic. The couple had a two-year-old daughter.
In the CCTV video, Reddy can be seen arriving at his house with his daughter and a large suitcase. He’s then seen emerging out of his apartment with a heavy suitcase, reportedly his wife’s body in it. He’s seen trying to drag the suitcase while also trying to hold his daughter.

According to reports, Bhuvaneswari went missing about a week ago. Reddy, who’s now being questioned by the Tirupati Police, had reportedly said that his wife died of COVID-19. But Bhuvaneswari’s relatives could not trace her body even after visiting several hospitals.
It’s suspected that Reddy killed his wife and bought a large red suitcase from Reliance Mart. According to the police, Reddy tried to burn the body. According to a report by NDTV, every part of her body was burnt except some bones and skull.
The alleged murder of a techie by her husband has sent shockwaves across Andhra Pradesh. The Andhra Pradesh Police have decided to send the samples for forensic examination.
