सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने BCCI अध्यक्ष अनुराग ठाकुर को अध्यक्ष पद से बर्खास्त कर दिया है। इसके अलावा अजय शिर्के को भी BCCI के सेक्रेटरी पद से हटाया गया है।
लोढा समिति की सिफारिशों के तहत यह मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट में विचाराधीन था और कोर्ट ने अपनी पिछली टिप्पणियों ने प्रशासक नियुक्त करने की बात कही थी।
15 दिसंबर को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने उनके द्वारा दायर हलफनामे को झूठा पाया गया था। और इसे धोखाधड़ी बताया था।
