A video of a pair of stray bulls entering the classroom of prestigious IIT Bombay has gone viral on social media, leaving Twitterati in splits.
In the viral video, a stray bull can be seen entering the classroom while the session was in progress. As the bull took a round of the classroom, amused students had no option but to remain mute spectators.
Mumbai Mirror, which shared the video on Twitter, quoted a student as saying, “There has been no action despite the shocking attack on a student this month. There is silence over the issue.”
No sooner did the video go viral, social media users on the microblogging site began to poke fun at the state of affairs in India’s prestigious educational institutions. User Js Oberoi wrote, “Why are they trying to take her out? She’s there for the parent-teacher meeting, for all her Sanghi kids attending IIT Bombay.” User Rajendra Jadhao wrote sarcastically, “She came there to bless uppercaste hindu meritdharis, her devoted bhakts.” “Cancer theek karne ke baad ab Engineering ka degree lene pohchi Gau mata, Jai Shiv Shambhu likh ke 5 groups mein bhej de,” wrote user Junglee.
Political analyst Sumanth Raman tweeted, “One I liked is that maybe there was oxygen shortage in IIT and so they called the cow in. Be creative but not abusive please. :)”
There were reports that stray bulls had attacked a student inside the campus on 11 July inflicting serious injuries in his abdomen.

Students alleged that they had brought the issue of cattle menace to the authorities, but no action has been taken till date.
India has always boasted about its IITs, which are known for producing global business leaders. IIT Bombay is one of the best IIT campuses in the country. Stray bulls entering the classroom at will no doubt heap considerable embarrassment on the country’s reputation globally.
