In a shocking revelation, it has emerged that Bollywood megastar Salman Khan too has been on the hit list of Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, who claimed responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosawala.
According to reports, a member of Brar’s criminal gang, identified as Sampath Nehra, had even carried out a recce of Salman’s house in Bandra in Mumbai in 2018.
The police recently found a threat letter from outside Salman’s house. This prompted the cops to beef up the security of Salman and his legendary father Salim Khan. The letter, written in Hindi, said that both Salim Khan and Salman Khan would soon meet the same fate as that of Moosewala.
The letter, which was discovered by Salim Khan, had two initials ‘G.B.’ and ‘L.B.’ While ‘G.B.’ means Goldy Brar, ‘L.B.’ could indicate the hands of Larence Bishnoi, who’s currently locked in Delhi’s Tihar Jail.
Lawrence Bishnoi had reportedly attempted to kill Salman during the shooting of Ready but he failed over the issue of weapons, reported NDTV.
Brar is a declared fugitive by Indian courts and is believed to be hiding in Canada.
Who is Goldy Brar?
Goldy Brar is a Canada-based gangster and is wanted in so many criminal cases by the Indian authorities. Earlier this month, A Faridpur court had issued an open-ended non-bailable arrest warrant against Brar for killing the district Youth Congress president, Gurlal Singh Pehalwan. Brar, whose real name is Satinder Singh, is wanted by authorities in India in many other criminal cases.
The Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) of Punjab Police had earlier arrested three close aides of jailed gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Brar from Bathinda. Those arrested were identified as Lovepreet Singh alias Sachin of village Charewaan, Himmatveer Singh Gill of village Jhorar and Balkaran alias Vicky of village Chak Dukhe Wala of Sri Muktsar Sahib. Two of those arrested criminals were involved in drug smuggling and illegal weapon trafficking, said the police.
The Punjab Police had also arrested Gagan Brar, the key associate of Goldy Brar, in April this year.
