Diwali saw Bollywood stars come out in droves to celebrate the festival of light. From Shah Rukh Khan to Salman Khan, almost all top-rated Bollywood stars organised their own Diwali celebrations. Not to be left behind Sara Ali Khan, who had a blast with Karan Johar and some of her contemporaries.
Sharing her joy, Sara Ali Khan posted a series of photos with Karan Johar, Anandya Pandey and Tara Sutaria, who will be seen in The Student Of The Year 2. Her photo with Karan Johar had the caption that read, “Thank you for a lovely night.”
The Student Of The Year is going to be produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Sara’s second film Simmba too is being produced by Karan. She had recently wrapped the shooting of Simmba, which also has Ranveer Singh in lead role and Rohit Shetty as director.
Sara had recently courted controversy after the trailer teaser of her debut film Kedarnath was released. Several Hindutva groups led by the BJP had demanded a ban on her film because of her intimate scenes with Sushant Singh Rajput. The film is also accused of promoting what’s claimed by the BJP is love jihad. The term love jihad is used to accuse Muslim men of trapping Hindu girls with an intention to convert them to Islam.
In Kedarnath, while Sara plays the role of a devout Hindu girl, her local guide Sushant is believed to be a Muslim.
