Mira Rajput and her actor husband Shahid Kapoor have splashed their social media pages with series of family photos of their Diwali celebrations. This is the first Diwali the couple have celebrated since their son Zain Kapoor’s birth in September this year.
The couple earned social media users’ wrath on Wednesday after they posted their intimate photo, showing them intensely lip-locked. A lot of their fans had taken offence to their act particularly because they had chosen to extend their Diwali greetings using this photo.
Whilst many expected them to delete this photo, the star couple appeared to remain unfazed by the social media criticism. On Thursday, both Shahid and Mira took to Instagram to post more photos of their Diwali celebrations. In one photo, Shahid was seen lifting his daughter Misha as the caption read, “Moments we live for.”
Shahid wasn’t the only one flaunting his love for his little daughter. Wife Mira posted a separate photo with Misha with a caption that read, “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.” She ended the message with a hashtag #oursong.
Many of their fans wondered when the couple will post their photos of Diwali celebrations with Zain since Mira had taken initiative to reveal his outfit for the festival, designed by Shahid’s designer friend. Moments later, when Mira posted a photo with en extended family, once again Zain was missing. In the photo, Mira and Shahid were seen posing for the camera with Misha and Neelima Azim, Shahid Kapoor’s mother.
While Shahid was seen dressed in white and denim blue jeans, all the ‘girls’ in the photo were dressed in pink. The caption read, “With Dadi!! Ta-Thai-Thai-Tat.” Once again inquisitive fans asked, ‘Where’s Zain?” One fan wrote, “Adorable! Where is the little one? Can’t wait to see him.”
It seems Shahid and Mira have taken a conscious decision to hide Zain from media glare in a bid to avoid paparazzi circus surrounding other star kids such as Taimur, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
