It’s official now. After weeks of speculations, actor Kabir Bedi has now confirmed that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will have their wedding in November.
Taking to Twitter Bedi wrote, “Great couple! Great locale in Italy! Great event! Wishing @RanveerOfficial and @deepikapadukone a wonderful wedding, and a lifetime of happiness.”

Bedi was reacting to a report by Filmfare magazine, which stated the guest list of the Padmaavat stars’ planned wedding for 20 November at Lake Como in Italy. According to the website, a source close to the couple had confirmed that the wedding will have only ‘close ones’ present in Italy.
“Mostly it will be their families and a few close friends. The guest list consists of merely 30 people and that’s exactly how these two want it. Italy is a favourite destination of both Ranveer and Deepika so they want to keep their big day more of a private affair. They are looking forward to hosting grand receptions once they’re back in India post the wedding,” it said.
If the reports of Ranveer and Deepika having chosen Italy for their wedding are true, then they will be following the Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, who had tied the knot there in December last year.
Earlier, it was reported that Ranveer and Deepika were to get married in Mumbai. In June this year, Deepika was spotted reportedly shopping for her wedding ring with mother Ujjala Padukone in Mumbai. People close to Deepika had said that the actor had made a decision to be off films for more than six months.
Deepika and Ranveer were recently in news for wrong reasons as a fan claimed that the couple had yelled at her when she requested them for a photo together at Disneyland in Florida.
