England’s football royalty David Beckham is in India as an ambassador of UNICEF to spread the word about the UN body during the cricket World Cup, currently being hosted by India. Beckham was one of the celebrity guests during the first semi-final between India and New Zealand. While in Mumbai, Beckham has been invited by many celebrities including Bollywood artists and corporate bigwigs. The latest in the series is India’s richest family, the Ambanis, who invited the former England captain to their house Antilia.

In the photo, now going viral on social media, Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani could be seen posing for camera with their children Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani and daughters-in-law, Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant. Beckham could be seen holding a Mumbai Indian cricket jersey with his name under his favourite number, 7. Beckham wore number 7 jersey while playing for Manchester United and England during his glittering footbvall career.

However, the absence of Anant Ambani from the family photo with Beckham triggered rumours. While some chose the opportunity to body-shame Anat, others simply wondered why he was kept out of the group photo.

Shloka Mehta had recently given birth to her second child, Veda. Announcing the birth of the couple’s daughter, a statement from the Ambani family had read, “With the grace of Lord Krishna and the blessings of Dhirubhai & Kokilaben Ambani, Prithvi is thrilled to announce the birth of his little baby sister — Veda Akash Ambani.”

Last year in November, Akash Ambani and her husband Anand Piramal had become parents to twins, Krishna and Aadiya.
