Killing of 35-year-old Kashmiri TikTok star stuns netizens; what Omar Abdullah said

The gruesome murder of a 35-year-old Kashmiri TikTok star and TV actress has left netizens stunned. Amreen Bhat was shot dead in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday evening.

Terrorists shot her inside her house on Wednesday evening. Amreen was immediately rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead.

Amreen’s killers also left her 10-year-old nephew, identified as Farhan Zubair injured.

They added, “Three terrorists of proscribed terror outfit LeT were involved in this heinous terror incident. Area has been cordoned off and search started. Case registered and investigation on.”

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wrote on Twitter, “Shocked & deeply saddened by the murderous militant attack on Ambreen Bhat. Sadly Ambreen lost her life in the attack & her nephew was injured. There can be no justification for attacking innocent women & children like this. May Allah grant her place in Jannat.”

Abdullah added, “Her nephew is a young 10 year old boy. Yesterday it was a police constable’s daughter injured in an attack & today this young 10 year old child. How does anyone justify these attacks?”

Jammu & Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha condemned the killing of Amreen. He said, “We’re firmly resolved to demolish terror ecosystem that continues to receive reinforcement from across the border.”

The latest killing of a TiikTok and TV star in the valley comes hours after terrorists killed policeman Saifullah Qadri in the Soura (Anchar) area of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday and wounded his seven-year-old daughter.
