Kapil Sharma buries differences with Krushna Abhishek, signs him with Bharti Singh for The Kapil Sharma Show

Comedian-actor Kapil Sharma truly appears to be in a happy space now after having undergone months of oblivion of depression in the wake of disastrous run of his show on Sony TV. However, as the popular comedian prepares to relaunch his The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony, he appears to be showing signs of maturity by learning from his past. Kapil, who had recently reached out to his former co-star Sunil Grover, has also buried his differences with another comedian Krushna Abhishek.

A report by Indian Express said that both Krushna and Bharti will now be the part of the new Kapil Sharma Show, which is likely to go on air in December. Confirming the news, Bharti told Indian Express, “It is going to be a mega reunion as all of us will get together after a long time. It is going to be a treat for the audience.”

Kapil’s new show was to go on air this Diwali, but the comedian announced his wedding last month forcing the postponement of his scheduled relaunch. Kapil will tie the knot to his girlfriend on 12 December, while the reception will take place on 14 December.

“The makers do not want to start the show in a haste. As of now, the final creatives haven’t been locked. There’s a lot of pending work regarding the cast and the format and it’s not possible to go on floors so soon. Even the set hasn’t been erected yet. Thus, the makers and Kapil have taken a mutual decision to push the show towards the end of the year,” a source at Sony TV had earlier said.

Earlier, the channel had issued a statement confirming his return to Sony. It had read, “Yes, Kapil Sharma is coming home to Sony Entertainment Television with his highly successful weekend comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma show’. We are delighted and looking forward to again collaborate with Kapil and his absolutely talented creative team and actors.”

Kapil has been a topic of intense social media conversations for several months ever since his show was taken off air in the wake of rapidly falling TRPs. The comedian-actor
s mid-air brawl with his co-stars had forced several key comedians quit the show, thereby adversely impacting its popularity. The sudden failure had pushed Kapil into depression. He had gained weight and taken to alcoholism. However, recently, it was revealed that he had undergone ayurveda treatment to return to his old shame, both mentally and physically.
