IAS topper Tina Dabi continues to be on a roll as her stardom attains a new milestone with amazing regularity. From topping the prestigious Indian civil services exams in 2016 to delivering a TEDx talk, Tina has grabbed headlines all through her journey that culminated in her appointment as an Assistant Secretary in the central government.

The interest in her activities made her incredibly popular on social media, where she kept increasing her followers with remarkable pace. She now has close to 2 lakh followers on Instagram. Much to her excitement, the Facebook-owned photo-sharing platform verified her account recently, thereby giving her the official status of a celebrity.

And if that wasn’t enough, Tina decided to tinker with her Instagram bio, which had simply stated up until now, “Delhiite, Kashmiri Bahu, IAS, in that order.” She now has a new addition to her name -‘Khan’. Her new name is ‘Tina Dabi Khan.’

Tina had married fellow topper Athar Aamir Khan, a Kashmiri Muslim, earlier this year. Their wedding reception had become quite a big deal as top names from Indian politics attended their party in Delhi.

On Saturday, Tina also updated her Insta story with a photo from Yamuna Expressway, which connects Delhi and Noida with Agra. Posting emojis of an umbrella and a car, she wrote, “Road trip.” The sign of an umbrella was to illustrate the cloudy weather in the area, which has been witnessing heavy downpour for the last few days.

Later Tina’s husband Aamir posted a series of photos of their trip to Agra. In one photo the couple is seen posing for camera from inside Fatehpur Sikri Palace.

Tina had recently delivered her maiden TEDx speech in Delhi’s Hansraj College. In the videos, posted by her, the IAS topper looked incredibly confident as she recounted her struggle while preparing for the civil services exams.

Tina has joined the central government’s Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises of Government of India as an assistant secretary, while her husband Aamir too has got a plum posting as an Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism.
