Indian Idol judge Vishal Dadlani has taken it upon himself to lift the shattered morale of the country amidst the raging second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. In an unusual message to people up and down the country, the renowned musician urged his fans to stay home and wear masks.
Vishal wrote, “Fuck you, Covid 19. We are India. ????????. We don’t stop helping, We don’t stop hoping, We don’t stop smiling.” He ended his post by using several hashtags in a bid to repeat key messaging on the COVID protocol. “#MaskUp #StayHome #KeepYourDistance #WashYourHands #HelpInAnyWayYouCan,” Vishal concluded.
Among those instantly approving Vishal’s uplifting message in the pandemic included actor Dia Mirza and music composer Salim Merchant. Others too reacted overwhelmingly to Vishal’s post as one wrote, “In a world with so much of sadness…. Life is still beautiful. Stay positive even when it feels like your whole world is falling apart. ❤️.”
Another wrote, “So true lets fight this pandemic together. A special thanks to @vishaldadlani for always being in the front to help people and spread positivity in these times. We need more heroes like you.”

The second wave of the coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc in several parts of India with Maharashtra being the worst-hit Indian state. The Delhi government on Tuesday said that its stock of oxygen was soon set to run out as the national capital reported its highest-ever single-day cases with record fatalities.
Social media users have taken it upon themselves to help each other by amplifying the desperate call for help from ordinary citizens.
The surge in positive cases had prompted British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to cancel his India visit, scheduled to start next week. The UK later placed India on the list of banned countries for travel.
