Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar has been placed back on a ventilator after her condition worsened once again. According to Dr. Pratit Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital, Mangeshkar’s condition was critical and she remained in the ICU under the observation of doctors.
Dr. Samdani said that Mangeshkar continued to be under aggressive therapy and was tolerating the procedures well at this moment.
Mangeshkar had tested positive for coronavirus last month, leading to her hospitalisation in Mumbai after she tested positive for coronavirus and developed symptoms of pneumonia.
Meanwhile, fans have begun praying for the speedy recovery of the legendary singer.
Industrialist Naveen Jindal wrote, “Prayers for Lata Mangeshkar ji’s quick recovery. May Maa Saraswati bless her with good health.” Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle tweeted, “Praying for the recovery of the great Lata Mangeshkar. Wish she is well again.”

Last month Union Minister Smriti Irani and the singer’s family members had made desperate pleas to those spreading rumours about the health of the playback singer.
Mangeshkar’s career as a singer spanned over seven decades. Some of her famous songs included Aye Mere Watan Ke Logon, Ye Galiyan Yo Chaubara, Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna hai, Lag Jaa Gale and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham among others.
