Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan has apologised to fans for being grumpy in her videos, particularly those posted after her bout of depression.
Sharing her latest video, Ira wrote, “Not-so-quick life update! I’m drinking 2+ litres of water every day. I have dedicated family time. I’m meeting my friends more frequently but for shorter intervals because I get drained. I’m no longer constipated. I’m doodling and journaling. I’m being productive. And my weekends of for unproductivity or whatever I so choose at that time. I’m taking control of the things that I can and feeling good about it.”
Ira said that she was still ‘not reading articles and meditating every day or being able to read books again.’ “I still have thoughts and experiences to share about my journey but I’ll probably be more positive while I talk about the difficult times. I’m also moving most of my mental health conversations to @agatsufoundation,” she said.
She concluded, “I still hope to get conversation started and provoke thought and introspection and normalise what we are all going through. More on that later. For now… yay me! And my progress.”
Ira said in the video how she realsied watching her old videos that she looked happier in video posted in the aftermath of her struggle with mental health issues than those posted earlier. She told her fans, “I realised that last few ones were bleam and my mood was in general not so good.”
Ira went on to add that she sounded upbeat and positive in videos where she spoke about mental health issues. “So just wanted to apologise for that I guess,” she continued.
