India needs more eye hospitals, says Rajnath

Home minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday expressed a need for more eye hospitals in the country while inaugurating an eye hospital in the national capital (New Delhi).

Opening the Sharp sight centre, a leading eye care hospital in Delhi and adjoining areas, he said, “Indian eye care hospitals should try to provide world class treatment. Hospitals collectively need to work towards it.”

Kamal B. Kapur, the director of Sharp sight centre said that the hospital is located at East Delhi’s Preet Vihar area and is fully equipped with surgical skill of international repute.
