One of India’s finest actors, Irrfan Khan, contacted country’s three most prolific Twitter users on Saturday requesting for audience. While two responded positively and almost instantly, the third told him to follow the process as he was busy.
The Madaari actor on Saturday posted three tweets tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, and Congress vice president, Rahul Gandhi.
To Kejriwal, he wrote, “Desh ka ek aam nagrik hoon. Aap se kuch sawaal pochnay the. Can I meet you @ArvindKejriwal? (I’m an ordinary citizen of the country. Wanted to ask few questions)”

Kejriwal instantly replied, “Sure.”
Irrfan then asked, “Dhanyawad @ArvindKejriwal , Monday and Tuesday we are in delhi, aap samay bataye hum pahunch jayenge.”
Kejriwal said, “Tuesday 11 am, my office.”

Irrfan’s request for Rahul was almost identical.
He asked, “Desh ka ek aam nagrik hoon. Aap se kuch sawaal pochnay the. Can I meet you @OfficeofRG?”
Rahul too didn’t take long in replying to the Madaari actor, “Happy to meet. Pl DM your number.”
Irrfan replied confirming that he had sent his number to the Congress leader.
Thank you @OfficeOfRG , I have responded.

As for Modi, the prime minister’s office informed the actor that the former was busy and instead asked the actor to follow the process and send his quest in a ‘letter with details.’
PMO wrote, “@irrfan_k Currently the PM is occupied with the upcoming Parliament Session. Please send a letter with details.”
Dhanyawad. Please DM me the email id and I shall send across the letter. @PMOIndia

The actor thanked the PMO for its response and requested for an email address for him to be able to send the request officially.
He said, “Dhanyawad. Please DM me the email id and I shall send across the letter. @PMOIndia”

We don’t know if the actor finally managed to get the desired email address.
Irrfan had in the past interviewed RJD chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav.
