Another user wrote, “Babar Azam rejecting Irfan Pathan with Grace.” “Babar Azam knows the reality of Irfan Pathan. That’s why he refused for interview to star sports after Bangladesh match in Kolkata,” wrote another user on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Irfan Pathan had famously performed a dance inside a cricket stadium the day Afghanistan defeated Pakistan in their World Cup encounter. The former India player has also been mocking Pakistan with his ‘padosi’ jibe routinely. Pathan’s dance celebration on Pakistan’s defeat had angered many former Pakistani players including Abdul Razzaq, who said that no one wanted to see Pakistan in the semi-final.
Pathan has not reacted to the claims made by Pakistanis.
