The Congress Party today slammed the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) citing that the Lokayukta chair had been empty and nothing had been done by Kejriwal led AAP after it came into power in Delhi.

“The Lokayukta chair is vacant for more than one year in Delhi, it has been more than 120 days since the AAP came to power,” senior Congress leader Ajay Maken told a news agency.

On Wednesday, the Congress had oeven issued an ultimatum to the AAP and asked it to appoint a Lokayukta within two weeks.

Congress claimed that the appointment of a Lokayukta will help take action against ‘fake’ ministers. A protest was also staged by the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) over the delay in apointment of the Lokayukta.
