Zomato earns plaudits for epic reply after bigot customer refuses to accept food from Muslim delivery boy

Food delivery app Zomato is being hailed for its epic response on social media after a bigot customer cancelled his order upon learning that the delivery boy was a Muslim.

Taking to Twitter, one Amit Shukla informed, “Just cancelled an order on @ZomatoIN they allocated a non hindu rider for my food they said they can’t change rider and can’t refund on cancellation I said you can’t force me to take a delivery I don’t want don’t refund just cancel. (sic)”

However, Zomato was in no mood to entertain its Hindu customer’s bigotry. The company responded on Twitter, “Food doesn’t have a religion. It is a religion.”



Zomato’s response has gone viral on social media with the post receiving nearly 30,000 likes and several thousand shares.





Meanwhile, the bigot customer also faced a social media roasting with some even asking the police to take action against the man for promoting religious enmity. While others poked fun at him by reminding how Hindus were comfortable in living in Muslim countries and earning their livelihood there.
