What made Anil Kapoor emotional on Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum that he issued apology to mother?

Actor Anil Kapoor has been a busy man in the last few weeks. After getting his actor daughter Sonam Kapoor married to Anand Ahuja, he has also been busy promoting his upcoming film Race 3, which also stars Salman Khan in a lead role.

The star cast of Race 3 appeared on the new series of Dus Ka Dum, a show presented by Salman on Sony TV. According to Mid-Day, Anil became emotional after Salman asked a question about his guests’ mothers. “The tone became emotional when Salman Khan asked the question ‘How much percentage of people call their mothers at least once a day?’ While Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and others offered their answers, Anil confessed that he doesn’t spend as much time with his mother [Nirmal Kapoor] as he would like to. He apologised to her for not being able to call her once a day,” reported Mid-Day.

Anil later told Mid-Day that he apologised to his mother on national TV because he hadn’t been showing enough love to his mother. He said, “Sunita [his wife] pushes me to speak to my mom every day and stay in touch with my friends. I apologised to my mom on national television because you can never show enough love to her.”

Race 3 is scheduled to to be released this Eid. The star cast also includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, Bobby Deol and Freddy Daruwala. As for Dus Ka Dum, Salman is hosting the reality show after the gap of nine years.
