“We want 100 for my brother’s death. If you (PM Modi) can’t, then I will avenge Auranzeb’s death because I know how to do it.”

The brother of the slain soldier Aurangzeb Khan has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get him the heads of 100 Pakistani soldiers for the death of his brother. He said that he himself will avenge Aurangzeb’s death if the government was incapable of teaching the killers of his brother.

Speaking to news agency ANI, Aurangzeb’s brother said, “Ham Modi ji se sirf yahi kahna chahte hainJo Hua hai bahut bura huwa hai. Hamare bhai ke badle hamein sau chahiye. Agar nahi de sakte to bata do, hum khud lenge (I want to say just this to Modi ji. What happened to my brother was very bad. I want 100 of their people (to be killed) for the death of my brother. If you (the government) are incapable of doing so, then tell us, we will do it ourselves. I know how to avenge my brother’s death),” the Army jawan’s brother said.

His warning to the central government came just a day after the slain soldier’s father had issued a 72-hour ultimatum to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to avenge Aurangzeb’s death.

Speaking to reporters, Aurangzeb’s father, Mohamamd Hanif, had said, These netas   (politicians) particularly sitting in Srinagar are getting everyone killed. Whether they are from the BJP, NC (National Conference) or the Congress, These netas   must be kicked out of Kashmir and an operation must start to root out (the terrorists) from here. I am giving Narendra Modi an ultimatum of 72 hours. If he can’t avenge my son’s killing, I will myself avenge Aurangzeb’s killing.”

Aurangzeb belonged to 4 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry and was posted at the 44 Rashtriya Rifles camp at Shadimarg in Shopian. His body was found by a team of police and Army at Gussu village, about 10 km away from Kalampora, in Pulwama district.

A video of Aurangzeb, which is believed to have been recorded moments before his killing, had gone viral on Friday in which he was seen being interrogated by the militants about encounters in which he had participated.

Aurangzeb, seen in blue jeans and t-shirt, is being asked by suspected Hizbul Mujahideen militants about his duties, posting and encounters in which he participated in 1.15 minutes video probably shot in a forest area. His killers then also ask him to name those who had ‘disrespected’ the dead bodies of their fellow terrorists after they were killed by the Indian army.
