According to reports, a joint operation was launched by the army and the Meghalaya Police in the North Garo hills district near the Assam-Meghalaya border. The operation led to the death of two Achik Matgrik Elite Force (AMEF) terrorists.
Reports also suggest, the security forces recovered two pistols, two fired cases and a bag from the killed terrorists.
