BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha on Sunday said he supported RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s call for a review of job quotas, and also hit out at “vested interests” opposed to him (Sinha).

The actor-turned-politician also warned “vested interests, ‘chamchas’ and some of my own people who call me sulking, disgruntled, negative…
“I am cool, calm, composed and least worried. Whatever I have said, done or will do is in the larger interest of Bihar its people and our party,” said Sinha, widely known as “Bihari Babu”.

“Bihari Babu is only interested in peace, prosperity, progress, growth and glory of Bihar, no matter where it comes from,” he said.

Sinha has stated that while he remains in the BJP, Janata Dal-United leader Nitish Kumar was best suited to become the chief minister of Bihar.
Sinha’s remarks have embarrassed the BJP, which is trying to oust Nitish Kumar in the ongoing assembly elections in Bihar.
The actor-turned-politician had recently tweeted giving the impression that Biharis should vote for the anti-BJP alliance. He had also met the BJP’s rivals namely Nitish Kumar and Arvind Kejriwal just before the elections. It is not clear whether Sinha has indeed praised the RSS chief or his tweets today were reflective of his sarcastic jibes against Bhagwat.
