We know that Shah Rukh Khan has been known for his wits and intelligent replies even when fielding difficult questions from reporters. The actor was once again at his best last week when he made himself available for his fans on social media platform Twitter.

Billed as #AskSRK, fans asked him questions and Shah Rukh replied to as many of them as possible. It was in the course of the Twitter conversation when a right-wing troll made a desperate attempt to embarrass the King of Bollywood. He asked, “Why don’t u react or give ur views on Kashmir riots..Bengal riots..illegal settlement of Rohingyas, Bangladeshis & Missionary activities of conversions in south India ?? Are u confined only to MAKEUP & Fashion Dress ??? (sic)”

Far from being fazed or losing his temper, a cool Shah replied, “I would reply to u but I don’t know if u r appropriately and fashionably dressed for my reply…”

This reply by Shah Rukh has now gone viral with nearly 3,000 sharing the tweet.

As expected, not all questions were bad. One user informed SRK how his wife was a huge fan of the Baadshah of Bollywood. He wrote, “sir my wife @kratikalla is your fan. She can argue & even fight with anybody just to make sure that #SRK is biggest superstar in Bollywood. a reply to her would be honour for us. ”

SRK replied, “Please tell her not to fight…”

Another user wrote, “In love with a girl name – Sandra , from Berlin . Being in distance relationship . Walking with hope in my heart . Need your blessings.” Shah Rukh empathised with his fan wrote, “Would have been more helpful with her if she was from Bandra, but all the best man.”

Shah Rukh had landed himself in trouble for taking stand on issues of public importance. In November 2015, the Bollywood megastar had said that he too will return his Padma award as ‘symbolic gesture’ if he had to. His comments had caused a huge outrage across India with the Hindutva brigade threatening to boycott his next film Dilwale.
