Industrialist Ratan Tata has vowed to give a fresh try to his unfulfilled music ambition that could not receive his attention in the past. Tata Sons’ Chairman Emeritus took to Instagram to share a photo of himself while attempting to play the piano.
He wrote, “I learnt a little bit of the piano as a young boy. I am still enamoured by the thought of learning to play well. After my retirement I found a great piano teacher, but was unable to give the attention that was needed to play with both hands. I hope to try once again in the near future.”

Tata found plenty of support from his followers with one writing, “god bless you sir.” Another commented, “U r inspiration to millions sir.” “Is there anything you cant do sir,” asked another fan.
Ratan Tata was recently forced to take to social media to debunk a fake statement attributed to him on the sale of liquor using Aadhaar cards. The viral statement had read, “Liquor sales should be sold through Aadhaar card. Government food subsidies should be stopped for alcohol buyers. Those who have the facility to buy alcohol can definitely buy food. When we give them free food they buy alcohol.”
Updating his Insta story, the 83-year-old industrialist had said, “This was not said by me. Thank you.”
Ratan Tata may be a late entrant to social media, but the affable business leader had amassed more than four million followers on Instagram alone. Several top Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor had made beeline for Ratan Tata as the industrialist made his Instagram debut with ‘breaking the internet’ warning in 2019. He’s not following anyone on Instagram except the official handle of Tata Sons.
