Yoga guru Ramdev on Saturday publicly disagreed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the latter’s criticism for right-wing gau-rakshaks causing violence against Muslims and Dalits.

Speaking at ABP News’ Press Conference, Ramdev stopped short of criticising Modi for describing 80% gau-rakshaks as anti-socials.

Cautious of his friendship with the prime minister, Ramdev said that contrary to Modi’s assertion, 99% gau-rakshaks he had met were non-violent.

On black money, the controversial yoga guru said that he saw nothing wrong in the intention of the BJP government on its key election promise on bringing back money stashed in foreign banks.

Ramdev said that he had met Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and the BJP President, Amit Shah, on the issue of black money adding that their replies had assured him of the government’s good intention. Ramdev, however, refused to divulge the detail on his conversation with Modi, Jaitley and Shah.

In response to a question from www.jantakareporter.com’s editor-in-chief, Rifat Jawaid, Ramdev defended the use of cow urine by Patanjali in its products.

Ramdev even advocated the human consumption of cow urine adding that this could cure many ailments in the body.

Presented by Dibang, Press Conference will be broadcast at 2000 hours on Saturday evening.
