A photo of one Harleen Mann, believed to be an SHO with the Punjab Police, has been widely shared on social media platforms including, Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp in the last few days.
On all these platforms, users are seen posting comments such as ‘Harleen Mann, Punjab Police..people are in queue to get arrested.’

However, the truth is far from what’s being claimed in the viral photo. The lady in police uniform in the viral photo is not Harleen Mann. She is also not a police officer in Punjab. Her name is Kainaat Arora and she is a Bollywood actor, who is currently shooting a Punjabi film, Jagga Jiundae.
Kainaat took to Instagram to clear the air. She wrote, “Dear People … harleen maan is my character name in the film #jaggajiundae .. it’s just a #film .. my phone memory is bombarded with forwards Frm al over d world , people sending messages & jokes : ready to get arrested etc .. i Am no REAL POLICE ??.. 3 days and stil this photo is viral across the continent.”
Few days ago, Kainaat had also posted few photos of her character Harleen Mann in police uniform.
Kainaat has acted in several Bollywood films including The Grand Masti besides acting in Tamil movies as well.
