The CBSE class 12 results were declared on Sunday morning.  A total of 19,85,397 students from Classes 10 and 12 had registered for this year’s exam.

This year’s results had run into huge controversy after board first decided to remove the Marks Moderation Policy. It had taken the intervention of Delhi High Court, which ordered the board directing it to refrain from changing the rules last minute.

After contemplating moving the Supreme Court, the board decided against it as the process would have delayed the results further. Over 10 lakh students had appeared for Class 12 examination this year.
