In a shocking development, police in Uttar Pradesh say that a six-year-old girl was gang-raped and killed before her killers, identified as 20-year-old Ankul Kuril and 31-year-old Beeran took her lungs out of the corpse. The alleged incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur city on Saturday night. Police have also arrested one Parshuram, who had hired Ankul and Beran to kidnap the girl.
According to news agency PTI, the girl had gone missing on Diwali night from the Ghatampur area. Parshuram is believed to have confessed to orchestrating the crime by hiring Ankul nd Beeran. Parshuram said that he got married in 1999 but did not have a child to date. He hired two contract killers to get the girl’s lungs to perform black magic.
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a financial help of TRs. 5 lakh for the victim’s family.
Uttar Pradesh has become notorious for the alarming rise in crimes against women. Though the government has announced several measures to help tackle the menace, this has not yielded any results on the ground.
