This year’s IAS topper Tina Dabi, who created history by topping this year’s civil services exam, has gone public on her relationship with fellow IAS topper Athar Aamir Ul Shafi Khan.
While Dabi is a Dalit, Khan, who had secured second rank in the civil services exam this year hails from Kashmir.
Dabi posted a series of photos of her with Khan on her Facebook page after updating her status as ‘In a relationship with Athar Aamir Khan.’
Dabi’s followers have been congratulating her on the new development.
Dabi’s new stardom had caused her few embarrassing moments with social media users attributing fake messages attributing to her.
In one such message from a fake Facebook account, she was reported to have paid rich tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi calling him her inspiration.
She was later forced to clarify that the messages being attributed to her were fake.
She had said, “I want to clarify that none of the ridiculous statements being made under my name are my opinion. It’s really heartbreaking for me to see that a few anti-social elements can’t even allow a simple girl, who has hardwork to remain in peace.”
