On occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the countrymen and wished that the festival deepens the spirit of harmony and unity.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi and wished for brotherhood and compassion among all.
Gandhi said the message of brotherhood and compassion is the guiding light for humanity and “may we all re-dedicate ourselves to such values”.
She also wished a joyous time and a peaceful year for fellow countrymen and the Indian diaspora overseas.
The party’s vice president Rahul Gandhi also greeted people on the occasion.
“On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, may we be guided by the spirit of compassion, peace & tolerance. My best wishes to everyone,” he said.
