Delhi Chartered Accountant shot as she waited for husband outside Shani Temple, murder captured on CCTV

Unknown assailants have shot dead a 59-year-old chartered accountant in Delhi outside a temple, where she was waiting for her husband to return. Usha Sahni was later declared brought dead when she was taken a nearby hospital in a critical condition.

Sahni, a chartered accountant by profession, was taking her husband for dialysis to Max Hospital in Madhu Vihar when her husband stooped at the temple for prayers. While she was waiting for her husband to return, a group of men arrived on motorcycles and began to fire indiscriminately.

When her husband returned to the car, he found Sahni lying in a pool of blood. He took his wife to a nearby hospital with the help of others but the doctors declared her brought dead.

Shockingly, the entire murder sequence was captured on a CCTV and police are trying to catch her killers.

According to police, the Sahni may have been killed due to some personal enmity but her family members have said that the deceased had no enmity with anyone.

Usha Sahni took her husband for dialysis thrice every week. On Sunday too, she had left for the hospital at around 6.30 AM. According to police, her attackers were familiar with the couple’s routine.

Police have ruled out the possibility of robbery since all her valuables were safe inside the car.
