Police in Uttar Pradesh say that a 25 year-old Dalit woman was allegedly gang-raped at her house in a village in Banda district.
The woman was alone in the house when two persons raped her on Thursday night, reported PTI quoting local police officials.
Both the accused have been identified and they are absconding. Based on the complaint of the victim’s family, an FIR has been lodged in the matter, the police said.
The woman has been sent for medical examination, they said.
