Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia are facing brutal social media roasting after Geeta Rawat, an AAP councillor from Patparganj was arrested on corruption charges.
The CBI had arrested Rawat on Friday for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 20,000 from a person for extending him favour to lay the roof of his building in an unhindered manner, ANI reported.
Kejriwal’s adversaries wasted no time pouncing on the AAP chief, who formed his political outfit on the pretext of fighting corruption.
The senior AAP leader Geeta Rawat, who has been arrested by CBI in case of corruption is a close aide of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia. She was caught red handed accepting bribe.

The embarrassing development for Kejriwal came amidst serious allegations by former colleague Kumar Vishwas, who accused the Delhi chief minister of being a Khalistani sympathiser. The timing of these events assumes significance given that Punjab goes to polls on 20 February. The counting of votes will take place on 10 March.
