Sridevi’s untimely death this February has brought the spotlight on her two teenage daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. While Janhvi is busy with her debut Hindi film Dhadak opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar, Khushi has been largely away from the scene of Bollywood.
But the tragic death of Sridevi has meant that entertainment reporters and Mumbai’s paparazzi have now begun to follow every movement of the daughters of the legendary actor. The recent activities of Jhanvi and Khushi and their frequent outings with half sister Anshula have received plenty of coverage in media.
Now the photo of Khushi using her childhood photo with Mom Sridevi as her mobile screensaver has gone viral on social media platforms. It was after she was spotted carrying a mobile that had her childhood pic with Sridevi as screensaver.
The decision to highlight how the young star’s daughter was using her mother’s old photo as her mobile screensaver did not go down well with Bollywood fans, many of whom felt that it was tantamount to harassment.
One user wondered, “Damm…u guys went so far? (sic)” “Is this even suppose to be a news?” asked another user. One user asked the two Sridevi’s daughters to be left alone. “Pls leave them alone. Stop stalking,” wrote a user. Similar sentiment was expressed by a user identified as Anamika, who wrote, “This is too much guys.”
Sridevi had died of accidental drowning in Dubai in February this year. Her death brought the Kapoor family together Boney Kapoor’s children from Mona Kapoor, Anshula and Arjun Kapoor, showed just how much they cared about their half-sisters, Janhvi and Khushi. Anshula had even taken to social media to shut up a troll, who had targetted Janhvi. This was then followed by Arjun slamming a Bollywood website, which published a report on Janhvi’s dress calling it ‘sexy.’
